Vintage Taylor Navigator Compass 2957 MIB

Description

This is a Vintage Taylor Navigator Compass No. 2957; it’s in mint condition in its original box with instructions and adjusting tool. The compass is designed for either automobile or boat. The instructions are dated 6/57 and it appears the compass was never put into service. The box is also in wonderful condition.
The original battery has been removed, I did test the unit by using a triple A battery and running a wire from the negative to the bulb, and it works without issue. The original battery was copper jacketed and touched the bulb making the connection. I did not install the wire or the battery and will leave that up to the new owner.
