    Mohawk M603-00016 Salad Bowl Finish (formerly Behlen B603-00016) not only protects salad bowls, wooden spoons, butcher blocks, children's toys, and more, it is also completely food safe (once fully cured). In fact it is the only FDA approved food safe finish. Contains natural resins and oils you can brush, wipe or spray on your projects. With multiple coats it eventually achieves an odorless, lasting satin finish, that also has good abrasion and impact resistance, and it's dishwasher safe.
    Salad Bowl Finish is specially formulated to allow for the following statement. "This product contains FDA regulated ingredients complying with 21 CFR 175.300." and therefore achieves a non-toxic, safe for food contact finish in its cured state. Mohawk Salad Bowl Finish should only be used on raw wood. Not intended for cutting boards or cutting blocks. 550 VOC Compliant. USA
