One of the most popular lampworking tools of all time. Roll your hot glass across the fins to easily create a grooved pattern. The other side is flat and is used as a smooth marvering surface.
One side is flat with a smooth finish and can be used as a marver. The other side has ridges running the length and is used for applying straight or angled groves or flutes to the surface of beads.
Rolling the hot gather over the fins produces a linear pattern a grid pattern or a diamond (pineapple) pattern. Also great for holding those hot twisties and stringers you just made!
Made of solid aluminum. Very effective design aid and very easy to use. 2" X 4".
